Elizabeth, the first child of Anne and Henry VIII is baptized under the new Church of England. Henry sends a statement to Parliament for the consideration, later to be known as the Act of Succession. This acts states that only his children from the marriage to Anne Boleyn will succeed to the throne. The Act also requires all subjects, to pledge an oath to acknowledge the Act as well as the Henry\'s supremacy. Questions of faith dominate the court. |
